I just want to share what I believe to be essential fabrics for summer in any preppy wardrobe.
Linen: it usually comes in great pastel shades, and when I think linen, I think on the beach in the Hamptons
Embroidered: perhaps my second favorite. We all should have embroidered shorts in our wardrobe. Lobsters is a top choice.
Seersucker: my absolute favorite. A must have in a variety of colors. You can never have too much.
Madras: Classic prep. Done.
