Fall is synonymous for the wearing of all things plaid: suits, oxfords, bags. I was never really a huge fan
of wearing plaid because I felt that it could easily give off the hipster vibe. I feel like this season, however, Im going to embrace plaid for fall. I have a few plaid Ralph Lauren classic oxfords in my closet just waiting to be worn.
I love the idea of plaid suits, but really love this plaid peacoat. Its a nice classic update to a classic style. I also find the red color scheme to be a bit different, which I like. Plaids are usually based on browns and dark oranges, but this red and black combination stands out.

Reminds me of this adorable plaid pea coat i recently saw and now i can't remember where...had wanted to add it to my list. Funny how plaid comes and goes...I have a pair of crazy plaid pants that i've had forever. Funny, some years they seem perfect and some years they seem out.

ReplyDeleteI live in Seattle so plaid not only reminds me of hipsters, but also the '90s grunge explosion. I think with the right look it’s very classic and preppy. I especially love a plaid pea coat! I have a grey one.
